Supermetrics Alternative: Pricing, What You Still Build, and an AI Analyst Option
Supermetrics is very good at one job: getting marketing data into a spreadsheet or a warehouse on a schedule. Everything after that, the pivots, the charts, the deck and the commentary, is still yours to build.
Supermetrics moves data. Quiriz answers questions about it and writes the report. Supermetrics starts at $55 a month ($44 billed yearly) for 1 destination, 3 sources, 1 user and 3 accounts per source, and puts marketing data into Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio or a warehouse on a schedule. Once the data lands, the pivots, charts, deck and commentary are still built by hand. Quiriz connects to 13 sources directly, takes the question in plain English, and writes the table, chart or slide into Excel, Sheets, PowerPoint or Slides. If you need 100+ sources, keep Supermetrics. If the building is the slow part, that is the part Quiriz does.
What Supermetrics costs
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $55 a month | $44 a month | 1 destination, 3 sources, 1 user, 3 accounts per source, 4,000 Studio AI credits |
| Growth | $222 a month | $177 a month | 1 destination, 6 sources, 2 users, 7 accounts per source, 12,000 Studio AI credits |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Warehouse destinations, APIs, transformations | |
From the pricing page on November 3, 2026. The caps are what to watch. An agency with ten clients on Google Ads, Meta and GA4 passes 3 accounts per source on Starter and 7 on Growth, and extra destinations, sources, users and accounts are each paid add-ons. Scheduled refresh in Google Sheets runs weekly, daily or hourly depending on the plan.
What Supermetrics does well
- Breadth. The connector list runs well past 100 sources, including Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, GA4, Google Ads, Search Console, Klaviyo and Facebook Ads.
- Destinations. Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, BigQuery and Snowflake, so the same pipeline serves an analyst and a warehouse.
- AI access to the data. AI chats let Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise or Copilot query connected data, and Studio (beta) builds dashboards from a description.
- Scale. Used by 200,000+ companies.
What you still build after the data lands
A Supermetrics query fills a tab with rows. A monthly client report still needs the rest:
- pivots or SUMIFS for each breakdown, and a check that the totals tie;
- calculated metrics such as blended ROAS or CPA, consistent across clients;
- charts, then a deck or document around them;
- the commentary: what moved, why, and what to do about it.
That work is the bulk of the month, and it repeats.
How Quiriz handles that part
Connect a client’s sources (HubSpot, Shopify, WooCommerce, QuickBooks, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Stripe, Klaviyo, Search Console, Harvest, PostHog and Bing Webmaster Tools) or point Quiriz at a scheduled Google Sheet or Excel file, and define ROAS, CPA and net sales once in Company Context. Then:
- In Google Sheets:
=QUIRIZ("ROAS and CPA by channel last month", "table")fills in the table and refreshes with the data. - In Google Slides or PowerPoint: describe the monthly review and the slides are built from the figures, with takeaways written from them.
- In Slack: account managers ask the same question and get the same number.
Plans are $12, $30 and $60 a month, and connectors are read-only, refreshed daily, on paid plans.
What Quiriz does not do. It does not load data into BigQuery or Snowflake, refresh hourly, or cover a long tail of 100+ sources. For those, Supermetrics or a similar pipeline stays the right tool.
Using both
For sources Quiriz does not connect to, let Supermetrics refresh a Google Sheet or Excel workbook, one tab per source, and connect that file to Quiriz. Quiriz reads each tab as a dataset and refreshes it daily, so the pipeline stays in Supermetrics and the reporting moves to Quiriz. The setup is described on Quiriz for agencies.
Which to choose
- Supermetrics if you need many sources, a warehouse, hourly refresh, or Looker Studio dashboards.
- Quiriz if your sources are among the 13 it connects and the time goes into building the report rather than moving the data.
- Both if you need a source Quiriz lacks and want the report written for you.
